I was sent a proposal on UpWork about scriptwriting for this popular podcast called Side Hustle School. It was pretty straightforward; write out a script based off of an interview with the prospective feature. I had done this countless times before at the Daily Titan so I gave it my best and we had a good time getting through these scripts. I enjoyed working with the team although they were a bit misleading at times. Sometimes it felt like I was doing a great job and they wanted to continue working with me and then they’d leave me cold for like a few weeks so it was frustrating but also a good lesson in how freelance will be and to not rely on a single job for everything. There’s always lessons!

So, I’ll post one of the features we did on this ex-marine named Benson Gitau. Personally, I thought the guy was kinda fishy but I wasn’t hired to be a journalist so I left the credential incongruity alone.
